In addition, Nikolay and Yaroslav had to go in heavy rain and fog conditions on the third day of the tests. This allowed the crew to choose good settings for their Škoda Fabia R5 for slippery and clay roads.

"During these tests, we've tried to use the maximum possible number of "hardware" settings in order to understand the way everything works under certain conditions. There was not enough time for all things, but, nevertheless, a great scope of work was done.

Test roads were very rough, with large stones: in two final days we've damaged the radiator twice and intercooler once. The rims suffered a lot, despite the fact that we used magnesium, the hardest ones. The number of damaged rims was slightly less than that of the tires.

The survivability of the Michelin tires surprised us a lot: we've got only one puncture in all four days (for comparison, the number of damaged rims was more than ten) – moreover, that was a side cut on a sharp stone. Michelin stands direct impacts very well".
